The Dresden Materials Symposium as a discussion and contact forum between Dresden's materials research and interested parties from research and industry focuses on the importance of innovative materials for new products in 2020. Speakers from science and industry will report on material developments and their significance for improving product properties. New structural and functional materials are already helping to solve social challenges such as resource-efficient mobility, alternative energy conversion and storage concepts, the aging society and the sustainable use of raw materials.
