MSE Darmstadt

The Congress for Materials Science and Materials Engineering (MSE) - will take place from 22 to 25 September 2020 as an online event. Every two years, one of the largest English-language congresses in the field of materials science and technology is held throughout Europe.

The programme of MSE 2020 will include the participation of world-renowned experts who will give plenary, keynote and topical lectures and oral presentations throughout the congress. In addition, poster sessions will be organised to give younger participants the opportunity to present their research and exchange ideas with their peers.

Stefan Polenz, Fraunhofer IWS, will give a presentation on "Integration of pure copper to optimize heat dissipation in injection mould inserts using laser powder deposition", based on the results of  "IMProVe" technology project.
