Taskforce “Polymers”

Founded at the creative workshop on September 1, 2016, the taskforce “Polymers” came together at Fraunhofer IWS for an active exchange of ideas.

New potential consortium members of AGENT-3D met at the taskforce “Polymers” meeting on December 8. Innovative project ideas of several companies and their feasibility were the objects of intense discussion. The main focus was on the economic and social relevance of applications. AGENT-3D wishes much success in the following phase in the form of outlines for the next call for proposals.

Prof. Leyens assumes the management of the thematic network MatWerk

“Interdisciplinary approaches inspire innovation!” states Prof. Leyens from Fraunhofer IWS. The goal is to foster wider cooperation between the material sciences and engineering with other thematic networks.

160 experts and novices from 23 countries took part in the first two-day symposium at Fraunhofer IWS. This highly successful event will be repeated in 2017.
